African / Caribbean
Michael, also known as ARCHYRA or the boom dig it in the house!, is a second year student at the Manchester Metropolitan University, studying Electronics and Communications Engineering.
Born and raised in Nigeria, West Africa (for those that don't know), he's the prefect presenter for the Afro-Caribbean Mix on MMU Radio. He will be offering up different music from all over Africa and the Caribbean islands.
Many of you may not know about: Afro-hippop, Hip Life (Ghana), Naja Hippop (Nigeria), Dancehall (Jamacia), Soca (Trinadad & Tabago and St Lucia) so Michael will be educating, entertaining and telling you many wonderful things about African and Caribbean music.
